DID YOU KNOW? - The Family Violence Protection Act 2008 replaces the system of family violence intervention orders established by the Crimes (Family Violence) Act 1987.

The Act seeks to maximise the protection and safety of people who have experienced family violence and promotes the accountability of perpetrators of family violence.
